afrol News partner media: Le Lynx

Le Lynx is one of Guinea Conakry's two main independent media, together with its sister publication La Lance. Both weeklies are published by the same editor, Diallo Souleymane, who also heads the regional editors forum of Western Africa. Le Lynx specialises on a satirical coverage of main events in Guinea and is never afraid of provoking the government and the opposition.

Based in the capital, Le Lynx during the last decade has grown into one of the most popular media in Guinea due to its professionality, wit and political incorrectness. Its popularity and large readership also makes it one of the best marketplaces to publish your ads in Guinea.

afrol News since 2005 has formally cooperated with La Lance and Le Lynx; the two Guinean media being the first French speaking publications in our new West African media network. Under current conditions, this cooperation enables Le Lynx to freely reproduce afrol News copy and it enables afrol News to reproduce and translate Le Lynx copy. With more French speaking media connecting to our West Africa network, afrol News also plans to provide Le Lynx with news in its own language by 2006.
